The circus can only have one ringleader. In a perfect world, I am that ringleader. My vision is clear and precise. This very personal story has been written throughout the whole of my 50 years, with a history that goes back to Frieda and Kobold. Beyond artistic vision and the need to tell this story, I am a connector and steward to team work. As I co-craft a cinematic vision with department heads, we could find the the camera in the very capable hands of Robert Elswit, Łukasz Źal, or Lol Crawley. Should for some reason, the director torch need to be handed over.. Edward Berger or Alfonso Cuarón could do the story justice with Steve Zaillian, Jonathan Glazer and Paul Thomas Anderson, and a handful of others equally capable. All of that said, I’m here to tell this story from the first to last frame, with a visual economy that never wavers or over compensates. ADLON is the movie I want to make and that I want to see.
